IAAPI Expo 2019: The Way for Chinese Exhibitors to March Into Asia Pacific Game &Amusement Market

Organized by Indian Association of Amusement Parks & Industries (IAAPI Association), IAAPI Expo is the only professional show in the South Asian game & amusement industry.  It is a great window to march into India's game & amusement market.  Every year, the show attracts over 9,000 visitors from home and abroad as well as 140+ manufacturers.  Among all the exhibitors, there are 60% from India and 40% from overseas. 

 

WAHLAP Booth: No. E8, E9

Guangzhou WAHLAP Technology Ltd. (WAHLAP) began participating in IAAPI Expo since 2014.  India’s game & amusement market is very large and needs to be developed.  Attending the show not only helps WAHLAP to promote its popularity but also assista Chinese manufacturers to enter into the India market and open a new window for exchange and trade.  As the game & amusement products are developing very fast, the variety of games is in full bloom.  Joining in the show as an exhibitor is helpful for manufacturers to get the latest market dynamic, share new products from all on over the world, and bring the latest news.  All of these do good to research, develop, and manufacture products which will be more suitable for the market and meet more customers’ needs.

 

Now, India's game and amusement market is dominated by middle and low end products.  According to Ms. Guo from the overseas department of WAHLAP, India’s game & amusement industry has a large space to develop.  Based on last year’s data, racing games and shooting games are much more popular in India.  Though the turnover rate at the show is not high enough, we can open the Asia-pacific market and attract more potential customers via this expo. 

 

Flying Animation Booth: No. D9

Mr. Qin Jian, the General Manager of Flying Animation Technology Co., Ltd. (Flying Animation) said that Flying Animation has regular customers from India.  They want to find some agents in India via IAAPI Expo, so that they can really open the local market.  Mr. Qin believed that India’s game & amusement market which has more middle & low-end products is developing.  It still has a large market share to be developed.  Now, the industry is full of fierce competition and meets lots of difficulties.  The one thing that manufacturers need to do is to create featured products and make sure of the quality and features of them if you want to march into India.  Also, he said that Flying Animation will bring its latest products to IAAPI.  At last, Mr. Qin hopes that Flying Animation and the entire industry will grow better and better.  He wishes that the South Asian market will be opened in the future. 

 

NineD Booth: No. C3

Mr. Liang Zhensheng, the Market Director of Guangzhou NineD Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (NineD) revealed that they learned about IAAPI Expo when they exhibited at a foreign exhibition.  They wish to enter into Indian market as there is a large population and with great potential.  Though NineD has its own customers from India and has certain knowledge about the market, they have still not opened the market.  NineD will bring its latest products to IAAPI Expo as well as to the Indian market.  Also, as India is with a wide gap between the rich and the poor, only when they visit the local population can NineD have a deeper understanding of the market.  As a result, NineD can find suitable customers and access to the market accurately.  They want to not only win more customers at the show, but also search for the local agents and learn more about the local culture & custom as well as the market trend.

 

Cowboy Booth: No. C28

Initiated in 2003, GZ Cowboy Recreation Equip Co., Ltd. (Cowboy) is a comprehensive amusement equipment company integrated R&D, design, manufacture, sale, installation and service provider.  Also, it is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers in China.  According to Mr. Cai Ensheng, the Manager of the planning department, under the introduction of an industrial insider, Cowboy will make its debut at IAAPI Expo in 2019.  It is said that no matter the scale, exhibitors, buyers or visitors are very considerable at IAAPI.  It plays a facilitating role in entering into South Asian market and expanding the neighboring market.  Mr. Cai said that there is a huge demographic divide in the Indian market.  Taking part in IAAPI Expo can directly take in the local purchasing demand and purchasing power.  What’s more, it can more easily drive Cowboy to integrate various resources, channels and approaches.  Cowboy will mainly display its inflatables which are suitable for FECs.  Cowboy hopes that it can reach good performance at the show.

 

Families of Childhood Booth: No. C10, C26

Guangdong Families of Childhood Entertainment (Families of Childhood) is specialized in children's amusement equipment, integrating R&D, design, manufacture, processing and selling services.  As the population becomes larger and larger in India, the economy for children’s entertainment is booming.  As a result, children's amusement equipment has a great potential of development.  Since 2006, Families of Childhood began to expand in the Indian market and export numerous products to India.  It has its own local agent and customers there.  Though India develops very fast, the local infrastructure is lagging behind and the amusement form is relatively simple.  It is very easy for manufacturers to enter into the Indian market.  Families of Childhood believes that the amusement industry in India is very prospective.  There are several expos in Southeast Asia.  Families of Childhood chose IAAPI Expo as the breakthrough.  They hope that Families of Childhood can win more customers, expand its brand awareness and open southeast and south Asian markets via IAAPI Expo.

 

Haozhiquan Booth: No. C29

 

According to Ms. Liu from the Export Department of Guangzhou Haozhiquan Water Park Equipment Co., Ltd. (Haozhiquan), Haozhiquan is a company mainly developing water park equipment and playground planning.  Being affected by the tropical monsoon climate, India is at very high temperature all the year. Therefore, water parks in India can open all year round.  Water park equipment is very promising.  Ms. Liu said, several years ago, Haozhiquan started its water park projects in India.  In recent years, India's GDP growth rate has reached the peak in the world.  Its economic development has been continuously improving and its demographic divide is very large.  India's amusement market is waiting to be explored.  Haozhiquan hopes to enter into the India amusement market and then expand to the whole south Asian market or even open it.

 

Luck & Jin Ying Booth: No. B9

 

Created in 1995, Zhongshan Luck & Jin Ying Amusement Machine Co., Ltd. (Luck & Jin Ying) is one of the distinctive and professional manufacturing bases in China's game & amusement industry.  In order to speed up the implementation of the company's "Going Out" strategy, Luck & Jin Ying is always active in the major international exhibitions, introduced by Mr. Chan Yiwen, the President of the company.  By chance, he learned about IAAPI Expo at a foreign expo.  After study and analysis, he believes that the demand of the game & amusement market is very large.  India is full of potential for growth.  With the attitude of promoting the brand and enhancing customer recognition, Luck & Jin Ying attended the show.  In March this year, it will be their fourth time to attend IAAPI Expo.

 

Mr. Chan expressed that the amusement market is in its infancy and has great potential for development under the large population in India.  As a result, India's game & amusement market is very positive.  What’s more, products of small and medium sized FECs such as redemption machines, bumper cars, and VR are very attractive.  All of these products coincide with Luck & Jin Ying's offerings.  That is the reason why Luck & Jin Ying attends the show actively.

 

LS-GameBooth: No. C2

 

Ms. Lee, the General Manager of LS Amusement Equipment Ltd. (LS) said, she learned about the show when she communicated with an industry insider.  LS still has a large space to develop cooperation with the Indian market, for the reason that this year will be the second time LS has attended the show.  She wishes that IAAPI Expo will drive LS to open the Indian market and lead more customers to get to know about the products from LS.  Though the amusement market is currently in the development stage, the demand and positioning are not high enough, and the large and cost-effective outdoor equipment is much more popular, the future of the market has great potential.  With the fast development, there will be more local investors involved in the amusement park industry, the number of parks will increase, and the quality as well as the appearance of equipment will be further improved.

 

Game Time International (GTI)  Booth: No. C39

 

GTI will also attend IAAPI Expo as an exhibitor.  At the show floor, GTI will widely distribute GTI Magazine and China Amuse where buyers can get the latest product information and industry dynamics.  Also, we will collect foreign buyers' information so that we can provide it to our customers who want to expand their markets.  At the same time, GTI will vigorously promote GTI Asia China Expo and GTI Asia Taipei Expo.  We will sincerely invite professional buyers and exhibitors to join in the flourishing Asian game & amusement market where they can find out the fast chance and best platform to enter into the market and win more business opportunities.
