The Cultural Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade of Wujin District of Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province has decided that game and amusement venues throughout the district will be regulated through the “12318” platform in an attempt to further strengthen the supervision of game and amusement establishments.  If citizens see illegal and irregular acts at entertainment establishments, Internet cafes and those business venues, which engage in the operation of publications and audio and video products, they may monitor and report the acts.  As the experimental unit for the national cultural market technical supervision and service platform, Changzhou is ranked among the top of the country in the aspect of technical supervision.  Following the inauguration of the 12318 command and service center, Wujin District has kicked off the work of digitized supervision over the cultural market at full throttle.

According to Commander Tan Daqing of the Cultural Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade under the Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication Bureau of the District, over recent years some game and amusement establishments in Wujin have taken the liberty of altering or modifying the models and types of equipment, so illegal acts deriving from this have occurred from time to time.  Regarding this situation, the brigade would launch the work of digitized validation of machine models and types.  From now on, game and amusement venues throughout the district shall abide by the requirements of the province and city to fully implement the technical supervisory measures.  Each venue shall install the video surveillance system, have access to the cultural and public security platforms and accept remote surveillance by regulatory departments at all times.  In addition, each machine shall be jointly examined by both cultural and public security departments and then have a unique 2D barcode label pasted on it.  Operators and law enforcement personnel all can check the complete information about equipment through the relevant system.  The objectives in the next phase include further advancing entertainment venues’ information technology adoption, ensuring the sharing function of the video surveillance system at game and amusement venues, perfecting the regular inspection system and random inspection system, guiding operating units to run legally, and preventing, stopping, investing and punishing illegal and irregular acts in time.
