Oman will be getting its first snow park later this year. Preparations are underway at the Mall of Muscat, which is set to open in the last quarter of 2018. The snow park is being developed by the Al Jarwani Group in partnership with the Tamani Entertainment and Dutch company Unlimited Snow. It will span over 5,600sq.m and feature an Alpine theme and a number of snow based attractions such as a snow high ropes course, snow bumper cars, a snow carousel, snow diggers, an ice climbing wall, an ice skating rink and many more. Snow and ice will be produced after visiting hours, but an artificial snow fall will be provided during visiting for guests to enjoy an unprecedented snow experience in the sultanate. Upon arrival, visitors to the park will be given boots, winter coats and socks, and before leaving they’ll have access to a special room to dry off. (2018/03/26)
