The GTI Sino-Russian Business Dinner, hosted by the GTI organizing committee, was successfully held in the Reception Hall of The Royal Marina Plaza Hotel Guangzhou at 19:00 on September 11, 2019. The Chief Organizing Committee of GTI, Thomas Liu, together with representatives of excellent amusement enterprises including Tongli, M-Sky, Daxin, JiXingLeYuan, U-Enjoy, Zhongshan Childwood, Sea, Chuangyong, Neofuns, and Vogos, shared ideas about the future amusement cooperation between China and Russia with Vice President of RAAPA, Igor Rodionov and Head of International Department Diana Lukina. With the theme of "Platform’s Building, Cooperative Promotion and Developmental Seeking", Igor firstly expressed his pleasure of gathering with representatives of excellent enterprises in China's entertainment industry. He said, “It is greatly appreciated that GTI provides the chance to let me meet all of you. And the 11th GTI Expo also impresses me much. I hope we can have the opportunity to cooperate in the future. The amusement industry is a relatively new industry with good development prospects. In addition, from the perspective of location, Russia is close to China and some other Asian countries, which is a geographical advantage for our cooperation. Here, I hope that more high-quality products from Chinese amusement enterprises can be exported to Russia in the future, and I will do my best to help you get more cooperation opportunities.”
Afterwards, the enterprise representatives introduced themselves respectively and asked Igor some questions about the laws and regulations, market size and demand, as well as the economic situation of the Russian entertainment industry. Igor also patiently answered in detail. The overall atmosphere was harmonious and everyone had fun.
It is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China as well as the establishment of Sino-Russian diplomatic relations in this year. For 70 years, these two countries have established a close and solid framework for international strategic cooperation from establishing “a strategic collaborative partnership towards the 21st century” to “a comprehensive strategic collaborative partnership with equality, trust, mutual support, common prosperity, and generational friendship”, and then to “a comprehensive strategic collaborative partnership in the new era”. On September 16 to 18, Chinese premier Li Keqiang paid an official visit to Russia and also held the 24th regular meeting with Russian prime minister Medvedev. The two sides are expected to reach a number of practical cooperation agreements in the fields of trade, investment, digital economy, agriculture, science and technology, aerospace and nuclear energy. Considering the close and solid framework for international strategic cooperation between China and Russia, taking advantage of Chinese economic development as well as the reform and opening up policy, the GTI organizing committee will work with these excellent amusement enterprises to help Chinese amusement products to be exported to overseas.
