New Funtopia Centers heading to Oman |
Funtopia, the indoor active entertainment centes brand, is expanding into Oman. Funtopia reached an agreement with AI Tamman company, which develops and manages lifestyle projects. AI Tamman is rooted in Oman and is part of the Mucat Overseas Group. “We already operate centers on four continents, and adding Funtopia in the GCC(Gulf Cooperation Council) area was a logical step for us,” says Tania Kishkin, CEO at Funtopia Franchising. “We are really happy that we have found a great partner who has significant trade experience, and we know will present our brand in the best way. AI Tamman can enhance the Funtopia brand by fine-tuning it in a way that is in sync with local culture and traditions.” The deal covers the opening of three franchise locations within five years. The first is scheduled to open at the end of 2019 at the Barka Grand Center shopping mall in Barka, Oman. Attractions will include interactive climbing walls, a giant slide, “cloudClimb,” trampolines, a ninja course, and a kids’ parkour ninja track. “Funtopia Active Entertainment Centers will offer local communities year-round, indoor fun for the whole family,” says Kishkin.
