| Grand opening held for Anjo World amusement park in Cebu, Philippines |
| Anjo World amusement park officially opened on November 30 in Minglanilla, Cebu, Philippines. The park features a number of attractions and thrill rides, including a 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel called "Anjo Eye", "Snow World" with new ice carvings and snow machine, Egyptian-themed spinning coaster called "The Pharaoh", the 25-meter "Tower Drop", the Fantastic Arena and Bumper Boats.
Anjo World is the first amusement park of its kind in Cebu. Their rides are imported from accredited manufacturers abroad that are members of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). This ensures all the rides are safe to the public, company officials said. “Our rides are brand new, well maintained and are safe. Computers are in place in most of our rides to ensure safety of our guests. Our safety team is at par with international standards to ensure safety,” said Cedric Reyes, head of sales and marketing.
