As one of the major cultural tourism projects in Nanning, Nanning Wan You International Tourist Resort has already begun construction in Nama town, Liangqing District, Nanning, Guangxi province, China. With a total investment of 50 billion yuan (7 billion US dollars), the investment of the first phase of construction is no less than 25 billion yuan (3.5 billion US dollars). The resort features six cultural scenic spots such as Panda Paradise, Ocean Kingdom, Science Fiction Paradise, Forest Water Park, Wild World and Mountain & Sea Fantasy, as well as hotel complex, shopping malls, cultural performances, cultural and creative exhibitions, and health care activities. The project adopts unified planning, and is divided into two phases of construction. The first phase includes Mountain & Sea Fantasy and Wild World, as well as the international theater and resort hotels. It is planned to complete the first phase of the main projects within 3 years, the first phase of all projects within 5 years, and the overall construction of the resort within 10 years, with the vision of creating a new milestone for Nanning’s cultural tourism.
